Dr. Ahmad has more than 10 years of research experience in the field of engineering and technology. He holds the S.B. (2006) and the M.S (2007) degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, both from MIT with a minor in Economics and Ph.D. (2012) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University. His research has focused on the areas of information theory, communications and wireless networks, and data storage. His publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings have been cited more than 1000 times and have been presented in international conferences, symposia, and workshops in Europe, Asia Pacific, North America, and South America. He has served as a reviewer for multiple journals and conferences and is an inventor on several patents in wireless communications and data storage.
